This phenomenon also happens, though to a lesser extent, in lower-carat gold pieces like 10k or 14k as they contain alloys that tarnish. To prevent oxidation, store the jewelry in a sealed bag when not in use.

● Unless otherwise notified, items will generally be shipped from Japan, but may be shipped from the U.S. depending on inventory availability.
